Double Eagle would like to introduce their newest high quality airsoft replica, the M1A1 Tommy Gun. This airsoft rifle is constructed from a durable polymer frame, handguard, and fixed stock keeping the M1A1 lightweight and easily manageable during long skirmishes. 20mm picatinny rails on the top and bottom of this rifle can house a wide range of tactical accessories including foregrips and optic sights. The Thompson was invented in 1918, becoming infamous during the Prohibition era and used by law enforcement and criminals alike. This rifle later became one of the most recognizable and favored rifles for soldiers during World War II. The original real-steel version of the Thompson was adored for its accuracy and high rate of fire, and has been accurately recreated on an airsoft platform thanks to Double Eagle. It was during the early and mid 1900s that this rifle was given a number of nicknames including “Tommy Gun, “Chicago Typewriter”, “The Chopper”, “Trench Boom” and then finally became the Thompson, named after its creator John T. Thompson. This version of the world renown rifle features a full metal Version 2 gearbox which can be easily upgraded with aftermarket parts. The 730 round drum mag has a large winding wheel on the face of the magazine for a much faster reload time. Double Eagle makes sure this rifle is ready to use right out of the box by including a battery, wall charger, and small bag of BBs. Utilize the adjustable hop-up to account for various target range and BB weight, for the most accurate shot every time. Fixed front and rear sights assist players to quickly and accurately zeroing in their targets without the need for an additional optic sight. The ergonomically designed polymer grip and fixed stock offer maximum rifle support and stability in all battle conditions.
